Gwen Stefani joins returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.

The coaches enlist music industry powerhouses Leon Bridges (Team Kelly), Miguel (Team Legend), Kane Brown (Team Blake), and Julia Michaels (Team Gwen) to prepare their artists for a dueling duet. After the vocal face-off, each coach must choose which artist from their team is the strongest to move forward to the Knockout Rounds. Each coach has one steal and one save, though their saved artist will enter into a Four-Way Knockout.

The remaining artists are paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will each select their own song to perform individually while their direct competitor watches and waits. The coaches alone will choose the winner from their team to advance to the live shows. Each coach has one steal in the round.
Usher serves as the Mega Mentor to all of the coaches' teams on the second night of the Knockouts.
The Knockout Rounds conclude. The 4 artists saved during the Battles compete in a four-way knockout for America's vote.
After the winner of the 4-way Knockout is revealed, the Top 17 artists perform in front of their coaches and America for their chance at a spot in the Top 9.
One artist from each team is revealed as safe by America's votes. Each Coach then selects an additional artist to move forward. The artist with the next highest overnight votes from each team competes in the Wildcard Instant Save for the last spot in the Top 9.

Fan Week kicks off with the Top 9 artists performing for their chance at a spot in the finale. The show includes special dedications from the artists.

The final artists perform to compete for the title of The Voice.
