C.J. reluctantly returns to her hometown of Dayton, Ohio for her 20-year high school reunion, and ends up enjoying herself when she bumps into a handsome former classmate. However, her enjoyment is cut short when C.J. finds herself in the middle of a sad family crisis ? her father has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. But as C.J. deals with all the emotion, she constantly feels the need to check up on Toby who's running the press briefings in her absence.

Cregg; First Lady Abbey Bartlet; and Charlie Young, Bartlet's Personal Aide.

As season 6 unfolded, the show shifted its focus from the current administration to the Arnold Vinick vs. Matthew Santos race for the presidency, presidential election, and transition to the new administration from the Bartlet administration.
