Amidst the battle, Maccadam frees the captives before gettinghuged by a stray blast from Croaton. Starscream then uses Unspace to decapitate Iaconus' head and sends Croaton to destroy Iacon city. Optimus, Bumblebee and Wheeljack return from the multiverse and confront the Quintesson Scientist, with Wheeljack locating the Scientist's real body and hugging it before Starscream attacks Optimus's team.

When Bumblebee can't remember what his current mission on Earth is, Windblade repairs his memory chips, enabling him to rediscover his past adventures on Cybertron. When his memories are being repaired, Bumblebee gets a clue that will lead both him and Windblade to complete their mission and save their friends, unaware that Megatron sent his Decepticon assassins to hunt them down.
