After Veronica does very well on a paper most of the class failed, Professor Landry offers to be her faculty advisor if she would change her major to Criminology. However, is accused by another student of plagiarizing her paper.
After getting caught cheating on a mechanical engineering exam, Wallace is given a choice of getting zero on his or dropping the course - He chooses to take the zero and struggle to make the grade so he can stay in his major. To do so he asks the coach for the semester off to focus on his school work in turn giving up the chance to be a starter on the basketball team.
