Scout is about to marry asylum seeking pupil Danilo and she is having doubts but her mother persuades her to go through with it. Scout becomes jealous after Danilo flirts with Em and ends up calling the wedding off. Danilo is able to convince Scout that he does like her and he thought she didn't like him. Phoenix tries to persuade Scout not to go ahead with the wedding. After Danilo fails to show up to football practice, Phoenix ends up letting it slip to Tom about the wedding and there is a race against time to find the happy couple. Finn finds himself being pressured into committing an act of retaliation on Tariq's gang. Lorraine continues to chase Michael about her job offer.

Its despondent teachers have given up trying to make a difference as they struggle to cope with their own personal problems as well as their nightmare day jobs.
