Alex wins a reward to a cafe which involved in which the survivors had to shoot various weapons at a target. He was allowed to chose one person and chose Jenna to come with him. Back at camp, Deena approached Rob and Heidi to vote out Alex because he was a threat in challenges which surprised them and feel betrayed. When they got back, Heidi told Jenna and Alex about Deena's plan and tried to vote her out. Matt won the immunity challenge which they had to eat various gross bugs. With him safe, Rob Alex, Jenna, and Heidi decided to vote out Deena.

J.D. carries on with his romance with T.C.W. Jamie, but finds himself at a dead end after realizing she's a drama queen.

Grissom and Catherine investigate a movie-goer who was stabbed to death; the team comes to a forensic impasse while processing a teenager who died from a gunshot wound.

They search for a young high-school teacher who disappeared after a night class in the Bronx, turning up contradictory information about the subject. They soon find out that he is having a relationship with a student at his school.
