Eric and Rabbi Glass (guest-star Richard Lewis) pay a visit to the church to spy on the new associate pastor (Jeremy London). Meanwhile, Ruthie is in big trouble when she's caught slow dancing with her boyfriend when she's supposed to be babysitting Sam and David. Meanwhile, Lucy asks Simon to dig up some information on Roxanne during his ride-along with her and Kevin in their patrol car. Lastly, Kevin has some explaining to do to Lucy after he runs into his ex-wife (guest-star Mindy Burbano).

Stunt #1: Helicopter Flag Snag Contestants would have to hang from a helicopter skit and drop into the water below as the helicopter flew over a buoy. Once in the water, they would have to retrieve a flag from underneath the buoy, swim with it to a platform, and clip it on a flagpole. Helicopter would stay overhead the entire time to create rotor wash. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated.

Jordan and the team are sent to lead the recovery effort at the site of an explosion. Amongst the rubble is a lone survivor and Jordan must keep him talking till help can get to him. The grim task of identifying the victims falls on Dr. Macy.

The unannounced arrival of Jacob and Nonny Hoffman (Mark Rydell, Doris Belack) from New York is greeted with glee by Delia and Ephram. Horatio and his team must uncover the evidence in the brutal murder of an entire family in their own home. The only survivors are a blood-soaked toddler, and the father who's in surgery. The immediate assumption is that the mother is responsible post-partum depression but the evidence discloses a different outcome.
