Despite Malcolm's best efforts - feigning sickness, planning to go over the wall with Francis - his family insist on accompanying him to a circus-themed picnic for the Krelboyne class, whom must each perform for the assembled students and families. Peggy gets caught up in a pyramid scheme, selling Metalife health bars. When she discovers that Bill has a talent for selling the product, she enlists his help. To keep him working for her, she realizes that she has to be mean to him, because being treated badly is the only thing Bill knows how to respond to. Despite all of the recognition that she gets, it isn't worth belittling a friend.

Christopher survives the attempt on his life, although he tells Tony and Paulie that he almost died and saw Hell. Carmela informs Tony that she has had more than enough of him coming home with his shirts smelling like of perfume and she wants him to end it with his goomah.
