At Nakum camp, Judd and Margaret have a heated debate about Judd's decision to vote with the former Yaxha members. Later, the pressure of a challenge loss falls on Jamie when he, given the responsibility of completing the first of three tasks in the reward challenge, is blown out of the water by Yaxha's Brandon. The reward that he single-handedly loses for his team turns out to be a phenomenal one that allows the winners to actually swim in the ocean - it is a croc-proof deck. While hanging around the deck, the Yaxha tribe begins to grow weary of Blake's fantastical stories and arrogant attitude, and Nakum's constant losses bring Stephenie to tears. Though rather sullen, Nakum pulls through with a win when it comes to the Immunity Challenge, thanks to challenge star Lydia, and at Yaxha's tribal council, Blake's attitude catches up with him as some of his old tribemates turn on him and vote him off of the island.

Sydney is forced to partner on a mission with new APO agent Thomas Grace. They discover that Rachel Gibson -- a spy suspected of being involved in activities against the U.S. -- has something shockingly in common with Sydney. The contestants work on creating a new promotional character for an ice cream drink. Capital Edge creates "Zip," while Excel creates "Ginny The Genie." Mark volunteers to wear the costume while everyone laughs at seeing him wear it. At Capital Edge, since Toral does not contribute anything, the team asks her to wear the costume, but she makes an excuse that she would be embarrassing her family. Excel wins again, sending Capital Edge to the boardroom, where Toral was fired for her ineffectiveness.

The CSIs come across an abandoned military compound being used by a small cult. The CSIs grow suspicious when they see that a mass suicide has taken place, but only 11 of the 12 beds are occupied.

As if adjusting to college life and the news that her secret crush, Reid (guest star Justin Baldoni), is gay weren't enough to handle, Amy learns that Ephram is going to be a regular fixture in her life now that he's moved in with Bright and Reid. Although, the anti-depressants he is taking is causing erectile dysfunction for him and tries to coerce Andy in letting him have Viagra. Ethan wants to keep all of this a secret from his girlfriend and family who don't know about his situation.

Rookie Elena Delgado joins the team as they search for Dina Kingston, a missing prostitute who had recently attempted suicide then come into a large sum of money. Martin continues his struggles to recover from his injuries, and is upset with what he perceives as his co-workers' pity for him.
