After returning from Tribal Council, Erik thinks he can't trust the other "Favorites" on his tribe and Tracy agrees with Erik. This gives Ami the chance to possibly create an alliance with the "Fans". Over on Airai, Jonathan thinks his knee is slowly recovering.
After Airai wins the Reward Challenge, the medical team looks at Jonathan's knee and recommends that he leaves the game. Jonathan agrees and so is out of the game in order to go to the hospital. But on Malakal, the "Favorites" complain about Tracy and Chet's work ethic during the challenge. Ami doesn't like all the negative comments and puts her trust in Erik and Tracy.
On Exile Island, Jason finds the decoy immunity idol and thinks it's the real one. At the Immunity Challenge, Airai wins and at Malakal, Chet tells his tribemates to vote him out due to his own injury. But Erik thinks it would be better to vote out one of the bigger threats instead.

The body of Richard Hartley, the newest member of a prestigious men's rowing team, is found washed up on a beach after a night of drinking with his teammates. According to his fianc?e, Minerva Fairchild, Hartley had just replaced the team's top rower Horace Briggs, who admits he'd been disappointed when he was bumped from the team ? but not enough to kill. As the evidence mounts, it seems increasingly apparent that Hartley was killed in an initiation hazing gone wrong. Sure enough, the team's coach admits that Hartley would have cost them a spot at the Olympics, so he instructed the boys to put him out of action so they could bring Briggs back. When things got rough, Hartley panicked and ran into the lake ? but he was a strong swimmer; they never dreamed he'd drown. Still no closer to the truth, Murdoch orders a test on the water in Hartley's lungs ? and that's when the investigation finally blows wide open.

Eli takes the case of a 15-year-old boy whose mother was killed due to a medical malpractice by Dr. Agon. Dr. Agon worked at the hospital where Nathan works, Eli will have to sue the hospital. Jordan, in the meanwhile, assigns Maggie to be Eli's head and so Eli has no choice but to take instructions from her. Taylor, however, organizes a live performance by George Michael in an attempt to square things up with Eli.
