The Nebari bring aboard a familiar face - Captain Durka, Rygel's former captor and tormentor - along with a theif named Chiana. Durka has been brain wiped and reformed, but his Nebari guide turns up dead.

The Sliders arrive on a world where Maggie's double was a heroic astronaut and loved by the public. When she is mistaken for her double, the public gets excited. After being kidnapped by the mysterious Leader, Maggie is taken by the government where she must confront her father.

On a visit to a new planet, SG-1 finds a woman chained to a stake in the middle of a seemingly deserted village. They free the woman, Mary, only to find she had been chained as an offering to a demon. When the demon appears, SG-1 recognizes the creature. The demon tells the villagers that if he does not receive five humans the next day, he will destroy the village. SG-1 then find themselves being made the replacement sacrifice, when the village elder returns and calls them 'evil.'
