Logan jeopardizes his and Wheeler's careers when a priest convinces him to re-open a murder case that's over a decade old which involves a politically-aspiring ADA who will stop at nothing to keep the truth buried.

Outside of Al Kut, Captain America is over-eager in his attempts to subdue a prisoner, while his men's growing disillusionment with his command is growing more apparent. Meanwhile, Ferrando relays to his officers the news that his counterpart in the Regimental Combat Team has been relieved of duty despite achieving his objective. Encino Man takes Ferrando's speech to heart and puts Fick on notice that there will be no more questioning of his orders. First Recon's next mission is to escort civilians fleeing from Baghdad down the highway. The men are overcome by the humanity and try to help, which gives Fick pause. Colbert and the others realize that with Baghdad being the next stop for the American forces, their war has probably come to an end, which rankles Ferrando, who itches to get back in the game. After reuniting with an old friend who tells horror stories about the Marine reservists, First Recon heads to Baqubah, a town north of Baghdad, to go up against Iraqi armor - with those same reservists in tow. Despite some mishaps along the way, the mission is successful, and the Marines take some prisoners. Unfortunately, Sgt. Eric Kocher, Colbert's counterpart in Bravo 3, and one of his men are accused by a reservist of mistreating a prisoner. First Recon heads back to Baghdad, unsure of what their role will be in the city.

Rising temperatures are melting away the ice road, making it a dash to the finish line for the crew breaking down the Langley site. Every last piece of equipment must be transported down the ice to Inuvik before the Arctic waters reclaim the road. Hugh is hauling an unsteady load of heavy gauge cable, making his rig so back-heavy that he struggles to get traction on the slippery surface. One wrong move could spell disaster for Hugh, but also for rookie Devon Neff, who makes his debut run at a time when the road is at its most fragile. And as the action escalates on the road, Rick finds himself in familiar territory--Gruben's garage. He has loads to pick up, but yet again this season, they'll have to wait until his truck is repaired.

Claudia is shocked when her mom drops by. Roxy gets cold feet before taking the test for her GED. A young man gets help on dealing with the loss of his dad.

A last minute pitch meeting has Sterling Cooper staffers working double time in preparation. Peggy's family hosts lunch for their church's new priest, and Don and Betty have a family weekend together. Also, Roger Sterling is smitten with a client that Freddy and Ken take out to lunch.

The family regroups after Mary's ordeal; Stan and Marshall search for a way to force Spanky to tell the truth about Chuck's drug trafficking; the FBI corners Mary.

The OSI has put a termination contract on Brock's head, and three top assassins plan to collect. Meanwhile, the Monarch and Sgt. Hatred battle to see who will be Dr. Venture's arch.

The case also helps Gerry face up to his relationship with Emily, who has not spoken to him since she discovered the truth about the DNA test at Ricky Hanson's trial.
