Lois gets a traffic ticket and immediately blames Francis and makes him get the money to her. To do this, Francis stages a stunt for the other cadets' amusement. Malcolm finds evidence that Lois was wrong about the traffic ticket.

Krusty feels pressure from the network to change his show, so he decides to retire for the fifth and final time. Meanwhile, in prison Sideshow Bob becomes outraged when he finds out that Krusty has erased his past by taping over all his old episodes. He gets released from prison and begins plotting his revenge. First he gets an assistant janitor job at Springfield Elementary and then he begins turning Bart into a Krusty killing machine. During the Krusty's final bow, he expresses his regret for what he did to Sideshow Bob just a Bart is about to kill him

A showbiz veteran gives Bobby his ventriloquist's dummy, Chip Block. Bobby starts doing routines about Chip's love of sports, and Hank seems to like Chip's personality better than Bobby's. Meanwhile, Dale, who was scared at a young age by a doll based on Chip, schemes to destroy the dummy.

When Scully and Doggett are contacted by a man who claims his wife was murdered shortly after giving birth to an alien baby, Scully digs deeper into reports of alien fertilization on humans, and she begins to question her own pregnancy and its conception.

Brian throws Justin out after the loft is burglarized because Justin forgot to set the alarm. David pressures Michael to move in with him. Justin steals Brian's credit card and runs away to New York City, but Brian and the guys follow him and retrieve him with no difficulty beyond a flat tire en route. Debbie is upset that Michael is still contemplating David's offer, while Emmett knows Michael is concerned that Brian won't approve. Debbie lets Justin move into Michael's old room. After consulting Ted about her financial situation, Melanie offers Lindsay the chance to take a year off from work to be a stay-at-home mom for Gus, but the two are still beginning to drift apart. David breaks up with Michael when he tells him he's not ready to move in.

Guerra rats to McManus about White still using drugs so McManus orders a shakedown. McManus confronts White and gives him an ultimatum. White goes to counseling but causes a fight and gets thrown in to the hole again. McManus gets a basketball scout to come and watch Brass play, but when Vahue loses to them, a plots unveiled to exact revenge. Sister Pete opposes Gov. Devlin's solution to Giles' request to be stoned to death. New inmate and Irish refugee Connolly arrives and forms a dangerous alliance with O'Reily. Said continues to grapple with his conscious about Adebisi's death.
