But some of the water Melvin uses for the Oasis' lagoon actually came from Perfection and contains Mixmaster, creating a deadly six foot shrimp. And when Melvin's attempt to kill it drives the shrimp out of the lagoon, Tyler and the others will have to stop it before it escapes into the wild.

Carter and an old (alien) friend, Warrick, who was captain of the Seberus (from the episode 'Forsaken'), join together to co-pilot a ship in a space race held in his planetary area. Special guests Ray Flynn and Representative Barney Frank mixed it up on the issue of gay marriages. The roundtable guests, Alec Baldwin, Christopher Hitchens and Tara Setmayer, then took up the issue, with those on the right arguing, among other things, gay marriages ultimately weaken the fabric of our society. Bill then steered the discussion towards the Middle East and the Saudi government's role in terrorism and why they have not been taken to task for their complicity. Texas state senator Leticia Van de Putte then joined in via satellite to talk about why Democratic members of the state legislature keep fleeing the state. Finally, the group discussed the impending recall vote of Governor Gray Davis. Bill then closed the show with the New Rules, where he focused on terrorist organizations that also claim to be charities.

A mysterious female assassin terrorizes the X-Mansion, knocking out the X-Men one by one. Wolverine finds out that it is his clone, created by the Dr. Deborah Risman and raised without love by HYDRA, and she wants to kill him because she holds him responsible for her miserable life. Wolverine and X-23, as she is called, square off in a battle that Wolverine does not want to win.
