However, the conflict sparks an idea with Eric and Annie who decide to use their savings to buy their house from the church. Meanwhile, Ruthie is upset with Martin because she thinks he will get the garage apartment instead of her when Lucy and Kevin move out, and Peter suspects that his dad, Vic (guest star Bryan Callen), might be having an affair.

The Liberty Bike quickly goes down as the hardest bike ever to assemble and finish when parts go missing, and Paul Jr. having to reject Mike Campo's Statue of Liberty face fender. To add to the fire, Paul Jr. has to fabricate a third exhaust system for the custom carburetor and contend with his father's impatient attitude in finishing this bike.

A police officer collapses and dies after pulling over a car, and the investigation reveals he was murdered. Horatio grows suspicious when Internal Affairs gets involved in the case, leading him to believe that the killing wasn't a random crime. Meanwhile, Calleigh aids an abused woman who is living with one of the suspects in the probe. Yelina begins dating Horatio's nemesis who is heading up the Internal Affairs inquiry.

Nessa starts a relationship and is falling in love with a new temporary Montecito employer known only as 'Bob the Floater'. Nessa turns to Ed in hopes of finding out more about her man. Meanwhile, a guest discovers that photographs of her undressing in a Montecito cabana have been posted on the Internet. Danny goes on the hunt for the cameraman who has also caught a revealing side of Delinda, and a close up of Mary. Sam engages in a war of words with a world-champion eater, causing her to step into the ring with him, but only after getting some expert training from Mike.
