In season three's live finale, Donald Trump chooses Kendra to be his next Apprentice. Given the option of either organizing the Miss Universe Pageant or running the renovation of a mansion in Florida, Kendra chooses to run the mansion renovation. As the winner, Kendra receives a six-figure salary from the Trump organization, a brand new Pontiac Solstice, and the title of The Apprentice.

The CSI teams come together to save one of their own when they learn one team member has been kidnapped and buried alive, and now they must find him before he suffocates under 5 feet of dirt.

After Grissom gives the kidnapper the ransom money, the kidnapper blows himself up. The team must band together and cover every piece of area to find Nick. The team gets close, but then run into a couple dead ends. The clock is ticking and time is running out for Nick who is suffering and suffocating underground.

Sandy is forced to make a difficult, life-changing decision to save Kirsten and their marriage. Seth, Summer, Marissa, and Ryan are caught in the middle of a fight involving Trey at The Bait Shop, and when Ryan finds out what happened between Trey and Marissa, gunfire breaks out. Meanwhile, Jimmy, worried about Marissa and his family, returns to Newport.

Having quit his job at the law firm, Will turns to a career in writing where he catches the eye of Malcolm, who claims to have high-profile connections -- but when his writing career fails, Malcolm has another job offer for Will. Meanwhile, Tom, an old flame from college, returns to ask Grace to design a hotel that he and his wife just bought -- only to discover that there are still romantic feelings between the two of them. Jack struggles to produce his latest show for Out TV, but spoiled child star Randall fails to embody Jack's vision. Under threat of a lawsuit, Karen is forced to publicly apologize to Beverley Leslie for an embarrassing rumor.

After his first day, Will becomes suspicious of his new job - especially when he finds himself in an empty office with no co-workers, a German shepherd and a Russian-speaking thug.

Season Finale: Carter's last day at County General is marked by a surprise gathering and an 11-year-old patient he delivered as a medical student. Ray is at a party and must takes charge when a balcony collapses. With all of the attendings at Carter's party, the three interns manage the traumas until Luka arrives. Pratt briefly visits his father, without revealing their connection. Upset that Sam won't let him visit Steve, whom he does not know is in jail, Alex steals Sam's credit cards and hitches a ride out of town.

Paige was last seen sneaking out of her office at the same time as an NYPD detective was asking her boss to direct him to Paige for a routine inquiry. To the team's surprise, the NYPD detective turns out to have been an imposter, causing them to question why Paige chose to run from this mystery man, what he wanted -- and if he caught up with her. Further investigation uncovers that the seemingly upstanding and socially conscious Paige was involved in a lucrative identity theft ring with close ties to a terrorist on a watch list who was recently seen in New York with her. Meanwhile, the remaining team members are gravely concerned about Vivian, who is undergoing open-heart surgery on that very day.
