When human remains are discovered in the belly of a shark, Brennan and Booth are brought in to identify the missing person. Evidence suggesting the victim had been the prey of several fish directs the team's investigation to The Aquarium of the Atlantic, where a guest lecturer and notorious self-help guru preaching the healing power of the ocean has gone missing. Sam and Dean are kidnapped by a group of gods, including Kali, Ganesh, and Baldur and held hostage in a small hotel. The gods want to use Sam and Dean as bargaining chips to stop the Apocalypse, but Gabriel shows up and warns them that if Lucifer finds them he will kill them all. Unfortunately, one of the gods turns on the rest and Lucifer appears.

When two teenagers on a date turn up "dead" at an abandoned warehouse with the three puncture wounds to the soft palate – a trademark of the shape-shifters – the Fringe team investigates the evidence as well as the motives of mastermind Newton. Upon discovering a shape-shifting embryo, Walter returns to the lab to conduct further analysis, and Olivia and Peter head to Massive Dynamic for answers. Meanwhile, Peter reveals a family secret to Olivia as Walter struggles to recall what Newton knows about "building a door".

The three finalists finish preparing their collections and show them at Bryant Park.

The six contestants who won Top 24 spots cooking against Matt Moran are treated to a Masterclass with him in ARIA's kitchen. Matt shows them how to make seafood canapandeacute;s. The other contestants learn how to cook a dish of baby vegetables and techniques for grilling meat by George and Gary. George also makes a raspberry dessert with jelly, granita and champagne.

Gene and the team follow a van they think contains a large amount of heroin. Following an altercation with an armed woman things take a strange turn when Gene appears to allow her escape. It is later revealed that the woman is an undercover police officer. Jim Keats reveals to Gene that Louise Gardner is from Hanfield police station and has managed to get in with the Staffords, a well known family to the police. Gene ends up blowing her cover and she later shows up badly beaten up. The team then work to stop Daniel Stafford from getting more heroin on the streets. Gene and Alex soon work out that somebody on the inside is helping Stafford.

There's a Yankee doodle flavour to this week's programme, with Demi Moore, Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow. Hopefully, Jonathan won't be as honest with Gwyneth this time...
