In the fifth season premiere (the first on the WB), worrywarts Hilda and Zelda grapple with freshman Sabrina's decision to fly the nest and live at college, where their niece has issues with her new roommates Roxie, Morgan and Miles. Trying to get over her first love, Harvey, Sabrina decides to make some big changes in her life, starting with attending college and living away from home like a normal freshman-but she soon discovers a normal freshman doesn't have life so easy.

Doctor Jordan, Daniel's old professor, dies and Daniel decides to pay a visit to where the Doctor worked and begins to suspect that the death may have actually been murder.

The episode starts once again with the gang riding on Lapras and Ash is talking about fighting the final final member of the Orange League Champoinships This very special moment is interupted by a strange Pokemon flying above the water's edge. Then the Pokemon flies upinto the sky and then he flies out of sight.

As if a gym battle with a Dragonite isn't challenge enough for one day, Team Rocket secretly surveys the weakened state of Ash's battling Pokémon and plots to turn the situation to their advantage.

Charlie returns to work as new nurse Colette starts work and it proves to be tough.
