As castaways get down and dirty to battle it out for a fruitful feast, in an unprecedented move, opposing tribes take to the bargaining table to strike a deal mid-challenge.

As Halloween approaches, the Hecks get quite the scare when Sue receives her learner's permit, and it's time for Frankie and Mike to teach her how to drive. But when a freaked-out Sue loses her nerve, she ends up running over Axl's foot, which could put an end to his high school football career and his hopes for a scholarship. Meanwhile Axl looks forward to voting in his first election, and Brick undergoes an unexpected transformation when he eats too much Halloween candy.

Oliver is surprised when someone shoots and kills one of his targets. As his plan is to bring people to justice vs. outright killing them, Oliver doesn't appreciate the help and searches for the gunman. He soon learns that the man, Deadshot, is taking out businessmen who are scheduled to bid at an auction on an energy company and Walter is one of the bidders. Realizing he can't protect his family and stop Deadshot at the same time, Oliver enlists Detective Lance's help, but his plan has dire consequences. Meanwhile, Laurel and Tommy get caught in an awkward situation with Oliver.

When the President of their co-op board Miss Crane passes away, domineering resident Lydia Allendinger takes her place, much to the guy's chagrin. Utilizing her new found power, Lydia forbids Nick's annual Halloween hallway decorations, which leads Nick to take some drastic measures. Elsewhere, Gary and Marny desperately want to buy Miss Crane's old apartment to expand their living space and conspire to scare off any potential buyers.

Since arriving on Earth, the aliens - led by the Bird-Kersees - have viewed Halloween as a threat and have set up a barrier at the gates of Hidden Hills to prevent children dressed in costumes from entering the community. Munch and Benson remember that case and see parallels. It's a question of maybe some incomplete police work from the past coming back 13 years later.

Close on the tail of their suspect, they bust into an apartment to find two dead bodies and a laptop cued up to some disturbing video footage. The footage begins with Brian, Mike and Kate hearing about an unusual animal attack in their town and the rest of the story is revealed through their eyes. Willie finds his office in shambles and alerts the authorities that the warehouse has had a break in. But soon Willie discovers that the culprit was his brother Jase, who needed supplies for an early morning frog hunt. Disturbed by his brother's ability to break in so easily, Willie installs a state-of-the-art surveillance system that he uses to become Big Brother to the duck call room throughout the day. At Phil and Miss Kay's house, Willie's daughter, Sadie is sent to do house chores to help her unplug from her constant texting issues.

When a heat wave envelops West Monroe the air conditioning unit at the Duck Commander warehouse goes down, turning the duck call assembly room into a boiling sweatshop. Desperate to cool off, the guys leave Willie behind and head to the local lake where they construct their very own redneck waterpark. Meanwhile, Willie hires the local Mr. Fix It, Mountain Man, to get the AC unit up and running once again, which proves to be a painstakingly slow process.

But she has to stand aside for Polly Nesbitt who retains her interest in Cleaver. Unfortunately Kirsty no longer does, and will allow Cleaver to retain his extremities if she and Col are not implicated in his trial and he pays his debt in full, in thirty days.

While Wendy blames Cleaver for Fuzz's desperate embrace of religion, Polly does an old-fashioned, on-air hatchet job on Cleaver. Cleaver seems friendless.

Emboldened by her confrontation with the school mothers, Scarlet steps in to help Cleaver. Barney relents and warns Cleaver that he'll go down for manslaughter but says he is likely to beat the murder charge. With their help, Cleaver goads Cal McGregor into having the charge upgraded.

But Cal didn't get to be Attorney-General without a few devious tricks of his own. His old mate, Director of Public Prosecutions, Norton Kent, finds a charge that will stick and send Cleaver down for a very long time, and also the judge who is likely to do it.

Cleaver will need to rely not only on his own wits and the talents of his friends to avoid a hefty stretch behind bars, but also on his belief that Cal McGregor will do absolutely anything to see Cleaver endure that stretch.
