When Dewey's pet rabbit does good in a state contest, the family must travel to Las Vegas for the nationals. But Reese unknowingly sells the rabbit to a restaurant. Now it is up to Dewey (with a little help from a "choking" Reese) to try and save the rabbit.
Meanwhile, Malcolm tells Hal and Lois that they embarras him, and that is why he didn't tell them he won state science honors. As a form of repayment, Malcolm gets great seats for him and Lois to see Lois' favorite singer. Lois then gets lucky and is invited backstage where all she really wants to do is figure out why Malcolm doesn't want her around.
Hal, on the other hand, is looking all across Las Vegas for a slot machine that he has had dreams of winning the jackpot on.
Francis is also in trouble when he gets behind on duties at the ranch, and for the first time sees that Otto isn't just a pushover for everything.

Michael is passed over by George Sr. for partner at The Bluth Co. so he decides to move to Arizona to spend more time with his son, George Michael. However, after George Sr. is arrested for bad accounting and the family's funds are frozen, Michael instead decides to stay in California to help put his family back together and keep them that way.

In an attempt to save her boss's immortal soul , Paige goes behind her sisters' back and makes a deal with the demon intent on claiming it. Also, Piper learns that Wyatt has been sabotaging her dates, and Leo finds himself trapped in the distant past with Chris after an attempt at traveling to the future goes wrong.

Reaper Madness

Death comes to the door of the Simpson home looking for Bart. A la a Benny Hill chase the family tries to elude Death. Homer kills Death and suddenly the world is without death. No one can die. Homer puts on Death's robe and suddenly finds himself "The Grim Reaper." He starts doing the job until he has to kill Marge. He gets out of the reaper job by pleading with God, but then he "pulls a fast one" on him by substituting Patty's body for Marge.



Frinkenstein

Homer gets a call telling him that he's won the Nobel Prize, only the call is really for Professor Frink. So that his father might partake in the awards ceremony, Professor Frink reanimates his father's corpse. His father's corpse escapes and goes on a killing spree to collect some replacement body parts. At the awards ceremony in Stockholm the Professor's father tries to make amends with his son for his recent organ harvest, until he sees all the brains filled with knowledge and rampages through the audience. Professor Frink, Jr. stops his father but is able to hold onto his father's soul.



Stop the World, I Want to Goof Off

Bart and Milhouse get hold of a stopwatch that actually allows them to stop time. They are having a great "time" and almost get away with it, until they are outsmarted by the mayor. On their run from the angry mob, the watch breaks and they are the only two moving in a world where time has stopped. Despite an easy to follow manual for watch repair, it takes the pair 15 years to get the watch repaired and for things to almost get back to normal.

Boomhauer discovers that his brother, Patch, is getting married to the girl Boomhauer loves, Katherine. When it reaches a boiling point, Boomhauer drops out as best man at the wedding and Hank is forced to take his place.

Sydney's emotions become twisted when she sees Alison Dorn, who was thought dead, and is a major part of The Covenant. Meanwhile, Lauren is looking for Lazarey's murderer and leads her to find out Sydney's connection. Also, Syndney becomes Sloane's handler.

While tracking a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, Goren deduces that one of his suspects has an injured foot. It isn't long before Goren and Bishop realize the pair, who have already killed nine people including two undercover cops, are not the typical Bonnie and Clyde – the female partner is obviously the one in control.

Samson sends Ben on a road trip to enlist a new attraction, where Ben encounters a longtime carnival rival named Phineas Boffo. Back at the carnival, Sofie debates whether to defy her mother and join Libby on the bally of the chooch tent. Meanwhile, Stumpy tells Jones he needs to get his 'candle waxed' and offers to set Jones up with Rita Sue. Lodz and Samson have a falling out over Ben's errand in which the old mystic turns to the mysterious Management. In Mintern, while Brother Justin is committed to a lunatic asylum and receiving treatments for 'religious excitation', Tommy Dolan is posing a rallying cry for his radio listeners: 'Where are you, Brother Justin?'
