Lorelai is mortified at the prospect of Luke interacting with her snooty parents--and Luke soon learns why; Rory participates in a bizarre off-campus event to research a story on Logan's secret clique; Lane and Zack have a stay-at-home first date.

With some grunt work ahead at his cousin's farm, Hank is desperate to call in a favour from Brent to help him. The only problem is Brent doesn't owe him any favours and Brent's going to make sure it stays that way. Brent even enlists Lacey's help, only to find out that in a favour war, you have to choose your allies carefully. Meanwhile Karen drives everybody crazy with her new hacky-sack and Oscar is thrilled when he finds a perfectly good pair of pants in the ditch.

The opening of Karen's all-ages club "Tric" brings drama and discord to the Tree Hill crowd. After Chris quits his gig on the night of the club's opening, Haley must face her fear of performing to save the night for Peyton. Mouth tends to a drunken Brooke, but Felix steals the credit and feelings begin to develop between the former friends-with-benefits couple. Meanwhile, Felix and Lucas come to blows over Anna; Keith and Jules reach a new level in their relationship; and Dan deliberately tells Karen about the night Deb and Keith spent together.

Veronica investigates possible fraud in the election of student council president at school after Duncan wins, beating a more popular, but less affluent student who promised to eliminate the wealthy students' on-campus perks.
Meanwhile, Logan causes a public relations nightmare for his movie star parents Aaron and Lynn Echolls when footage of him organizing boxing matches between homeless men is posted on the internet and leaked to the media. Later, Veronica and Keith learn that the man who admitted to murdering Lilly is set to be executed, but a second look at crime scene photographs puts his confession in question.

Craig's back with Ashley and he's determined not to screw it up this time. So while Ashley is consumed with preparations for her father's wedding, Craig kicks into full-on Romeo mode, creating a romantic hideaway for them at a motel. And Ashley's reaction makes "borrowing" Joey's credit card to pay for it totally worth it. With everything with Ashley going so well, and inspired by the wedding festivities, Craig pulls Ashley aside for a private conversation: will she marry him? A stunned Ashley doesn't know what to do? Liberty and JT are heading up a new play to bring some spirit back to Degrassi. But their retelling of Dracula is too dark for Raditch. Will Liberty and JT compromise their vision so the show can go on?
