Eric makes yet another decision without consulting his wife, who finally comes home to some drastic changes in the house. Elsewhere, Sandy finds herself in a romantic triangle with Martin and a guy from school.

After Eric gives the family a big scare and the paramedics are called to the house, Annie realizes Eric has been hiding the truth from her and she's determined to find out what it is. Meanwhile, Lucy pays a surprise visit to Sandy, who appears to be falling in love with her classmate, Daniel, while Martin continues to pursue her as well.

The teams take off from their Pit Stop at the Al-Sadiq area water towers and receive a clue instructing them to fly to the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, over 4,600 miles away. As the teams scramble for flights, members of an alliance known as the "six-pack" both help and hinder each other. Two teams argue over placement in line, but ultimately all teams travel on the same flights to Mauritius. Once there, the teams receive a model of a schooner and match it to a real schooner in the Grand Baie. The teams make a long swim to the schooner and then swim back after receiving a clue. The clue instructs them to drive to the Case Noyale post office. Along the way, teams face both traffic and car problems. They then take part in a Detour --- Salt or Sea, and several teams experience difficulty with their initial choice. Ultimately, one team arrives last at the Pit Stop, but is not eliminated, as this is another non-elimination leg.

The team re-opens the 1958 case of a local celebrity, a radio DJ nicknamed "The Hawk", when they discover his death was staged to look like a suicide.

Carolyn Bigsby (guest star Laurie Metcalf) apologizes to Bree and Orson. Gabrielle suspects Carlos is trying to trick her. Susan professes her love for Ian. Lynette learns that Tom bought a restaurant, and Nora (guest star Kiersten Warren) makes her move.

It turns out he will also discover more about relationships, love and how to make a success of it all. In doing so he gets some hilarious advice from unlikely sources and we see the first time that he actually kills two people at one time.

During the course of the investigation, Jack and the others learn that Aaron's disappearance was connected to events that took place during Hurricane Katrina, when Aaron was fighting to save his sons. Following the trail of evidence, believing that the events of that night in New Orleans hold the key to finding the truth about the missing man, the team desperately searches in this moving episode.
