Enterprise has finally reached Azati Prime, the site of the Xindi superweapon. Unfortunately, Reed can't find any weak spots in the Xindi's formidable detection grid. Archer suggests utilizing the Insectoid shuttle the crew recently salvaged to sneak past the grid and locate the weapon - perhaps they will be able to blend in. After learning how to operate the craft, Mayweather and Trip take it into Xindi territory, hoping to scan the weapon. They clear the detection grid and find that the planet is largely oceanic. They detect what could be the weapon, so they take the shuttle underwater. Once there, they find what they're looking for: the weapon is massive, a truly impressive and horrific sight. They take their scans and head back to the ship. Meanwhile, Enterprise is detected and scanned by a Xindi monitoring facility on the moon's surface. Archer, worried that the facility will alert the rest of the Xindi, is forced to destroy it.

Clark receives a panicked call from Lana and hears a gunshot before the line goes dead, but when he arrives at the Talon he is stunned to discover she is alive and well. Clark realizes the phone call came from the next day and that Adam is the one who will shoot Lana.

Kelso gets a flare gun, uh oh.

Bartlet becomes enraged when a Congresswoman uses her knowledge that Ellie Bartlet is working at a scientist for the National Institute of Health in order to get funding for a controversial medical study. Toby scrambles to find the internal leak who exposed Ellie's position while Josh meets with an old friend who happens to be a judicial nominee that's being held up in committee. Meanwhile, Abbey appears on an episode of Sesame Street, despite C.J.'s political concerns, with Elmo and Big Bird as a doctor who gives Elmo a check up.

Doug and Deacon's relationship hits a speed bump when Deacon unknowingly befriends Doug's grade school archenemy.

When McCoy fails to win a murder conviction against an eccentric cross dressing millionaire for the death of his neighbor, he redoubles the effort to convict the man for murdering his second wife years earlier by demonstrating that he murdered a witness to the crime.
