Eric is approached by a young pregnant teen girl, Leanne (guest-star Amanda Fuller), for help in finding a family to adopt her baby. When Leanne goes into labor, she has a change of heart and suddenly Eric and Annie are stuck with the task of trying to convince Leanne's mother to support her and help find the baby's father. Unfortunately, when the teen father is tracked down his parents try to convince him to stay away from her as it was Leanne's choice to have the baby. Meanwhile, Simon coincidently runs into the brother of the young boy he accidentally killed in the car accident at one of his therapy sessions, only to find that the brother has forgiven Simon and would like to help him find closure. Both boys share a special time together as they bike ride around the area where the fatal accident took place last year. Also, Harry (guest-star Aaron Carter) is confronted by Kevin and Martin for wanting to break up with Ruthie, and all three are surprised to learn that Ruthie wants the exact same thing. Lastly, Lucy teaches her first sex education class and finds she may be better at it than she had originally expected.

But when the bike returns, engine problems linger, putting the pressure on Junior to fix the mystery problem before OCC presents the gift to Lance on The Tonight Show.

The CSIs must find the killer after a young woman is pushed in front of a moving bus. Alexx finds a bruise shaped like a hand imprint on the victim's back, proving that she was pushed in front of the bus, and her boyfriend, Jay Seaver, is the prime suspect. When one of Jay's office rivals also turns up dead, Jay reveals that he has a psychotic stalker, Claudia, who he thinks might kill to please him. However, when Jay hires a lawyer to protect Claudia, Horatio suspects that Jay may be more involved than they thought. Meanwhile, Calleigh's father seeks her help when he fears that he may have killed someone after a night of drinking, and Horatio assigns a new CSI, Ryan Wolfe, to the case.

Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenage boy who can see ghosts, helps a young girl ghost when some skateboarders knock over a vase offering for her. The next day Ichigo sees the young girl being chased by a big monster called a Hollow. Ichigo goes to help the girl but when the girl is just about to be eaten, a female Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki, appears and saves them. That night Rukia visits Ichigo's room and is surprised when she realizes she is visible to him. While they are conversing a Hollow appears and terorizes Ichigo's family and household. After receiving a terrible injury from the Hollow, Rukia makes a final attempt to save her life, as well as that of the Kurosaki family and transfers her powers to Ichigo so he can save his family.
