Freamon gets Syndor and Prez started on the Barksdale money trail. They discover the usual ties to dummy companies, but they also find large sums of political contributions. Herc and Carver bust Wee-Bey holding $22.000 but only $15,000 is reported. Lieutenant Daniels discovers the discrepancy and orders them to find the money before the morning roll call. Omar's mission takes him to Proposition Joe where he promptly offers another recently stolen Barksdale stash to Joe in exchange for Avon's pager number.

it's harvesting time for Julian, Ricky and Bubbles as they take the dope filled Airstream trailer on a long police chase thru the countryside.

For Charlotte's 36th birthday, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte go with Samantha to Atlantic City on Richard's jet. The entire trip, Charlotte worries she'll become an old maid, Miranda only wants to catch up on sleep, and Samantha is pre-occupied keeping an eye on Richard. Meanwhile, Carrie realizes that she has to gamble in life and not continue to hide.

The line between fantasy and reality blurs for Johnny when he awakens to find himself married to Sarah and is the father of her two children. It's as if the accident that drove him into a coma never occurred, and only he remembers it. As he proceeds through his new life, Johnny starts to see a series of disturbing images of people, starting at a mall during an art festival, hideously burned and images of fire trucks and fires. He wakes up in a mall with Bruce back in his normal life, having passed out. He realizes the art festival is about to have a major bomb explosion as he keeps fuguring between his different 'lives'. In his 'dream life' he tries to convince everyone to search the mall for a bomb but he sees the mall go up in flames because of an arc-welding accident... and wakes up again back in his 'real life' and sees the same accident about to happen. He stops it just in time...leaving him to wonder about the life that might have been.
