As well as picking the core ingredient, Claire was given the power to choose the pairs for the challenge. In a further twist, they would be cooking to impress six staunch meat-eaters, and the two judges, with their vegetarian meals. Aaron and Adam emerged as winners with their curry, and won the chance to face off in a mystery challenge for immunity.

Bent Detective Trevor Haken risks everything to gather evidence against his mates by wearing a wire to meetings. Chook Fowler testifies at the police corruption hearing, first denying corruption then gearing audion of crocked deals. Kim Hollingsworth's police career is jeopardised when she agrees to go undercover for the Royal Commission.

Ed and Al battle against Pride while May tries to take on Father. Meanwhile, Ishbalans make plans within the city. In his fight against Bradley, Scar reveals a reconstruction transmutation circle from his brother's research now tattooed on his other arm. Just as Ed's group start to gain the upper hand and despite the arrival of Greed, Father grabs the four sacrifices and uses them, along with Hohenheim, for his transmutation circle, absorbing all the souls in Amestris. This opens a giant gate flat on the surface of the Earth from which rises a giant Father. Then another gate opens in the sky with a giant eye looking out which Father calls 'God' and pulls towards him.

Joy feels inferior for not finishing college, so she decides to hit the books and earn her degree. Although she passes her classes, Eddie isn't satisfied with her grades, and he decides to take matters into his own hands, which leads to Joy getting kicked out of school.

For Glenn's birthday, Ron surprises him with tickets to the upcoming adult film convention, but Ron forgets he is supposed to watch Robby that day, so they end up bringing him along. Meanwhile, Gary and Brandon decide to start a band, but Gary's micro-managing ways cause a rift, ultimately forcing him to quit.
