The third set of hopefuls audition with the judges only able to hear their voices and not see how they look. The judges have to select ten different acts during the course of the auditions that they would each like to mentor. If more than one judge are impressed by the same act then the act has to decide which judge they would like to be mentored by. Those hoping to impress this week include Joelle Moses, Nathan James, Cassius Henry, Kirsten Joy, Bill Downs and Tyler James.

The third set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. The auditions begin in London where The Zimmers manage to impress all the judges and the studio audience. Twisted Disco are not so successful though and fail to impress the judges. Four Corners begin a run of successful acts who do manage to impress the judges though. Richard Bolongi fails to impress the judges though with a song that he has written for his ex girlfriend. Chelsea Redfern manages to impress all the judges with her voice. More acts fail to impress the judges until 49 year old rapper Zipparah takes to the stage. Ashleigh Butler and her dog Pudsey manage to impress all the judges and sail through to the next stage of the competition.

As David and Amanda are out walking their dogs the ground gives way and they become trapped in an underground cave system. Sam has to combat her fear of the dark to treat them. Dylan shows up to help as David admits that he has been too scared to ask Amanda out. Dylan and Sam start to argue about cowardice in their marriage. Amanda and David's conditions get worse and Sam and Dylan have try and put aside their differences to save them.
