Buffy and Dawn clear the house of magic items to help Willow and Buffy has a surprise visit from a social worker checking on Dawn's home life. The meeting doesn't go well and in a fit of rage after wards, Buffy cuts off her hair. Meanwhile, the Geek Trio have built an invisibility ray and accidentally hit Buffy with it.

Stunt #1: Airplane Walk Contestants would have to climb out on the wing of a bi-plane as it flew at 100 miles per hour and over 4,000 feet above the ground. They would have to release a flag at the end of the wing and return to the cockpit. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated.

Kitty brings Dharma to the ground-breaking ceremony of her arch-nemesis Teensy Manhart's new outdoor amphitheater. But Dharma takes a flying leap into the path of the spade in protest when she realizes the theater's intended site is a precious wetland. Abby, Larry and Ed Begley, Jr., a well-known environmental activist, join in her protest.

Jackie has to get a job in order to stay with Kelso. Eric catches Red snooping in his room.

Meanwhile the Mayor is depressed by the anniversary of his mother's death, but Carter introduces him to a woman, Christine, who cheers him up in more ways than one. Later, though, Carter reveals that Christine is the receiver of the Mayor's mother's donor heart, potentially threatening their relationship.
