Now that Glory knows that Dawn is the Key, and realising that she is unstoppable, Buffy decides to simply flee. Their escape plan is sidetracked when the Knights of Byzantium catch up to them and trap them with diminishing options.

John Cleese reprises his role as Liam Neesam, Dick's malevolent alien nemesis in the first of a special two-part episode. In part one, Dick intercepts love letters sent to Mary by "Scoochie", a secret admirer, and plots to interject himself into Mary's upcoming assignation at a Renaissance festival with the mystery man.

A simple garden on Montgomery-owned land triggers a war of the roses (and ladybugs) between Kitty and Dharma's hippie friends. Meanwhile, Dharma gets her hands dirty helping one of Ed's wrongfully terminated employees put his life back together, whether he likes it or not.

Cordelia is accidentally sucked through a magical portal and transported to a demon dimension, finding herself all alone in a strange new land where humans are considered inferior and sold into slavery. Angel, Gunn, Wesley and the Host jump through the portal in search of her and end up shackled by an angry mob of villagers and sentenced to death.

When fellow X5 escapee Tinga returns to town to save the family she left behind, Max, with the help of Zack, once again places herself in danger to battle Manticore, Lydecker, newly turned X5 Bryn, and an increasingly power-hungry Madame X. When Tinga gives up her freedom to ensure her child's safety, she is taken to a secret government lab. Amid the double crossing, we learn Lydecker is no longer in the loop with the real Manticore higher-ups. This means Max is in more danger that she could possible imagine.

Harm & Mac square off in court over a charge of illegal fraternization, but when they oral arguments become directed at each other & reflecting their own relationship, Judge Helfman recesses the court for the day with a strong admonishment to the both of them.

Frasier catches his mentor in a bathrobe with Roz. Niles doesn't believe Daphne is psychic, so she calls a spookologist.
