A girl that Jerry met on the road and likes calls and asks if she can stay in his apartment for the night while she's in town. George thinks that she's just using Jerry, and when she arrives, she asks to stay over even more. Then, after things begin to go well, Jerry learns that she's engaged.
Elaine invites Jerry to a party where he meets a woman that fascinates him. However, Jerry knows nothing about her, not even her name, so he and George stakeout the lobby of her office building in an attempt to 'run in' to her.
When Jerry returns home from being out of town, he finds that his apartment had been broken into due to Kramer leaving the door open. Jerry decides that it's time to move and he and George go apartment hunting. But George begins to like the apartment Jerry finds and they fight over who gets it. Meanwhile, Elaine insists that she gets the apartment of whoever wins, and Kramer searches for the stolen items.
Kramer comes up with a plan for a make your own pizza restaurant chain and goes about finding investors. Jerry's former high school friend begins to constantly bother him and he tries to avoid him. Meanwhile, George has relationship problems with his latest girlfriend.
George and Jerry get a good stock tip and Jerry sells his stock before it takes a drop. George, however, keeps the stock and when it rebounds, he sells it for a lot of money. Jerry plans a weekend for him and Vanessa, but George warns him that trips like that are boring and known 'relationship huggers'. While on the trip, Jerry is bored and hates the trip, just like George told him he would. Meanwhile, Elaine tries to deal with a cat problem.
