Starting off was Let's Make A Date with Chip choosing from Wayne(power crazed Southern state trooper), Colin(joined at the butt with Ryan but desperate for his own showbiz career), and Ryan(motorcycle stunt rider). Next was Motown Group where Wayne(to his consternation), Chip and Ryan sang "Do The Hockey Player". Following that was Song Titles where all four were soldiers in the trenches. Scenes From a Hat had when cartoon characters go on dates, first drafts of famous movie lines, the worst person to be stuck with at a party, trivial reasons to hold news conferences, and other things Dorothy and her friends asked the Wizard for. Wayne was declared the winner, so Drew joined the others in a body odor Hoedown, with Ryan and Colin reading the credits as two guys joined at the butt.

After watching scary movies, Joey, Pacey and Jack talk about their creepiest experiences and urban legends. Joey shares her story of how she was almost attacked by the librarian on Halloween and saved by the creepy man she was running from. Jack tells the story of when he was helping clean the frat house basement and found a guy strapped, who later he found out to be a ghost. Pacey reveals that he was chased by a black car while giving Karen a ride home, but there was nobody driving the car. Grams arrives and says she has the scariest story: the time when Jen got locked out of the radio booth.

Peggy takes the school Spanish club on a field trip to Mexico. She mistakes a little Mexican girl, Lupe, for one of her students, and takes her back on the bus with her. When she realizes her mistake, she brings Lupe back to Mexico and is arrested for kidnapping. Meanwhile, Hank finds himself the object of a female cop's affections, who keeps pulling him over for various reasons, in order to spend time with him.

Cheryl's mother is coming to visit them for Christmas and wants to stay at their house. Jim and Cheryl, however, prefer that she stayed at a hotel but don't know how to bring it up without insulting Maggie. After Jim tells Maggie that Cheryl wants her in a hotel, Maggie gives her grandma's pearl necklace to Dana. Cheryl's upset and goes to the airport to ask her mother' forgiveness, where she learns Dana only got the necklace because she doesn't have anyone in her life like Cheryl has Jim. Meanwhile, the girls think Andy is Santa.

The White House is adorned with holiday decorations, but the staff is feeling anything but merry as they deal with threats to firebomb black churches in Tennessee on Christmas Eve. Leo is also lacking the holiday spirit as he prepares to testify to the House committee concerning the non-disclosure of Bartlet's MS issue -- and the $650 an hour he's paying his lawyer doesn't help any. Flashbacks reveal the President's reasons for not disclosing his illness during his time as governor.

After returning home and forgiving her husband, she realizes what she has done to her son (she doesnt know she failed) they spin a story to the media to cover their tracks. Meanwhile, Butters obsesses with returning home so that he can join his parents for an anniversary dinner at Bennigans.
