During an especially bumpy flight, Frasier tells a fellow passenger about his eventful past few weeks, which are recounted in a long flashback. She believes he is just playing hardball, and later approaches him again with an offer of a higher salary and the bonus of a regular morning television gig. Frasier accidentally misses part of his show after engaging in a "matinee" with Charlotte. Kenny fills in for him, and enjoys being on the air so much that he decides to quit his job and go back to being a disc jockey.

Two young men are found murdered after scamming Sam Braun's casinos. Because of her relationship with Braun, Grissom refuses to allow Catherine to participate in the case, leaving the rest of the team to solve the mystery. One of the suspects is the son of a man who was black-listed for cheating years ago in Sam Braun's casinos. Sara finds out that Grissom recommended Nick for the promotion that she wanted.

In part 1 of the finale of Frasier, Frasier struggles to put together a wedding for Martin and Ronee, Some of Daphne's brothers come to Seattle and Frasier gets an offer from his agent that he is considering whether to take or not.

In part 2 of the finale of Frasier, Eddie is taken to the vet by the family during Martin and Ronee's wedding rehersals, Niles and Daphne have very good news. Martin prepares to move out of appartment 1901 and Frasier decides on the offer put to him by his agent.

Season Finale: Good samaritan Luka stops to help a woman with a dead battery, and comes to her aid when she is hit by a reckless driver. Abby discovers that she passed her boards. Pratt is concerned about Chen when she comes to work with a black eye. Neela withdraws from her residency program at the University of Michigan, knowing that she can't be licensed without an internship. When Steve announces his intentions to stay in Chicago, Sam hurriedly leaves town despite Luka's attempts to stop her. The custody battle for Henry Lopez goes before a judge. While Pratt drives Elgin Gibbs home en route to dinner with Chen, the three are shot at by an irritated driver.

When the team searches whether foul play was involved in the adoption of a 16-year-old girl who went missing back in 1991 shows up at the FBI offices with an article she found online, which makes her believe she was kidnapped as a young child. Meanwhile, Jack tells the team he's moving to Chicago with his family.
