The queens split off into teams to film a country-fried commercial directed by Kathy Najimy who's joined on the panel by guest judge country music legend Tanya Tucker.

Louis Tobin is questioned by Patty Hewes about his fraud and relationship with Danielle Marchetti. Meanwhile, Joe Tobin is faced with a decision that will change the future of his family.

When his son's anxiety level rises because of the poor family situation, Joe decides that it is time to buy a house. In order to get some of the money, he places a $25,000 bet on a basketball game. Meanwhile, Terry is cast in a B-movie, which makes him feel self-conscious about his diminishing acting career and Owen's father enlists Marcus to become manager of the dealership because he is scaling back his hours.

Renji and Zabimaru come to the real world following a sword fiend. Chimpette and Snakey split up to search. They find the sword fiend quickly but he escapes. Snakey follows him and is covinced that being free is better. Snakey has trouble doing anything since most people can't see him. Karin is the only person who can see him and ends up taking him home. Renji and Chimpette are wiating in the park and Chimpette is feeling lonley because Snakey isn't there. Ichigo returns home and finds Snakey. After Snakey finds out that Ichigo is a subsititue soul reaper he runs away only to encounter the sword fiend. Snakey begins to fight him and almost wins until the sword fiend caputres Karin who was follwing Snakey. Right as Snakey is about to die Chimpette and Reji return to save him and defeat the sword fiend. Ichigo takes Karin home convincing her it was all a dream, even though she knew it wasn't. Having resolved his differences Snakey, Chimpette, and Renji return to Soul Society.

Tragedy strikes though when one of them suddenly dies. Al and Sarah enjoy being together. Tom isn't happy with Anya's new friendship with Judy. Greg and Abby follow up Greg's suspicions about a postcard and they find themselves at an abandoned airfield.

Maxine is desperate to make a good impression at her parents' party so cajoles Ian into pretending to be her boyfriend. He reluctantly agrees, but their act unearths deep feelings that take everyone by surprise.

Meanwhile, Carl realises what he's lost by splitting up with Maxine so he is determined to win her back. But Carl soon finds love and hate are two sides of the same coin when Micky reveals a painful secret.

At the Jockey, Mimi does her best to conceal Karen's illness after she returns from the psychiatric unit. Escaping for a night out, Jamie meets Michelle, a Madame of a thriving male Escort Agency who plans to seduce him into a murky but lucrative new job.

While Lillian is away, Kelly takes control of the brothel and is soon making a fortune from an untapped market. Paddy is keen to get in on the action but Kelly's not interested, so he forces Chesney to become part of the Maguire organisation and accept an offer he can't refuse.

Tim Key presents a poem about disgraced MPs. Other segments examine the media's hysterical coverage of the John Terry affair scandal, the response to the news that four MPs will face criminal charges in the MPs' Expenses scandal, and a BBC News series following journalist Nick Robinson's efforts to solicit voters' opinions.
