Survivor kicks off in Nicaragua where the danger is high and the island rugged. With 20 people who are going to have to work together, it is going to be tough. Jeff Probst is the host for the season and with 39 days 20 people, there can only be one survivor. Brenda, Benry, Alina, Chase, Jud, Naonka, Kelly S., Shannon, Kelly B., Sash, Jimmy Johnson, Jill, Jane, Wendy, Tyrone, Marty, Yve, Dan, Holly, and Jimmy T. are the cast of survivors for this season. Who will be the one to survive to the end?.

After enduring pressure tests and grueling challenges, the remaining chefs compete for $250,000 and a cookbook-publishing deal.

Carter, Dean and Jaimie go undercover to corner two drug-smuggling brothers who use a flower-import business as a cover for their activities. But things go awry when Homeland Security requests that the team keep the smuggling business open so they can trap a potential terrorist. Meanwhile, Dean asks Jaimie out on a proper date just; Ty has second thoughts about his impending divorce; and Carter for a major life change.

Marti is horrified when she discovers Wanda in the audience at qualifiers and banishes her from the stadium. After Charlotte, Savannah's sister and captain of the Hellcats' rival team from Memphis Christian college, falls and suffers a serious injury, Savannah is torn between going with her sister to the hospital and staying to compete. Savannah tells Marti her parents stopped talking to her when she decided to transfer from Memphis Christian to the secular Lancer University, forcing Marti to re-think her stance on Wanda attending qualifiers.

As TR, along with the drug squad, work to catch a well known drug gang, Kerry's efforts to save Blake, a meth cook and reformed drug addict becomes personal when, devastatingly, she finds out that her son James is battling his own addiction. When the body of a 16 year old girl is found dead in her home in the middle of the afternoon, the investigating police cannot be sure a crime was even committed. With no forensic evidence and nothing to suggest the victim didn't die of natural causes, Matt and Ronnie question why they have been called out in the first place. However, the mother's victim believes she was raped because she never slept naked. On further investigation, an unlikely murder weapon is uncovered and a likely suspect - someone with whom Crown Prosecutor James Steel has a history.
