On this episode, Jason, Grant and the TAPS Team goes to New Bedford, Mass to investigate armory that is eligibly haunted. The TAPS team pics up unusual thermal images on their equipment, which detects a warm pattern flowing through the lens of the camera. Also, during the same investigation, a sound recordists for the show ("Frank DeAngelis" Filming crew) suddenly out of nowhere, falls down, and stays down in a sort of "shock" state. Upon further investigation and video recordings find out that the equipment he was carrying spontaneously lifted up and hit him on the head and his back. This has been determined by TAPS to be an encounter.

When Josh test drives an SUV and accidentally crashes into a hybrid car, Annabeth Schott, the newly named Press Secretary, must deal with the publicity as well as the general opinion that she's too young for the job. Meanwhile, Zoey throws Charlie a graduation party; Leo gives C.J. hints to succeed as Chief of Staff; and Toby worries that Annabeth may be too young to do well in her new position.

The remaining girls are surprised with a visit by actor Taye Diggs. That's not the only surprise - shortly after the girl's finish their acting exercise, Tyra surprises them with a trip to Tokyo, Japan.
There, the girls find that the work gets only harder as they work on a soup commercial with a Japanese speaking director.

When the charred bodies of two men who had been robbing a Chinatown bank are found, the entire team investigates the crime, which leads them to Doris, the missing infant of the bank's manager. The team realises that Joanna Cho assisted with the robbery out of fear for her daughter's life. Mac and Stella finally manage to track down the third robber, only to find him lying in a pool of blood, with a trail of bloody baby handprints leading away from the body.

The detectives are skeptical when a former street activist turned shock jock with a history of staging phony muggings to gain publicity for his causes appears to be the subject of an attempt on his life after publicly assailing a mobster, but they begin to believe his story after they discover that the married jock was involved with the mobster's mistress.

She was on the distress call and is found alive. Meanwhile, Hurley has a ridiculous plan to make life on the island a little more civilized. The plan involves golf clubs he finds in the debris, and it looks like it just might work. Lastly, we flash back to Sayid's childhood friend Nadia as well as his participation in hostage situations in Iraq.
