On this episode, The TAPS team Investigate a rumored haunting at a college student group house, were the hauntings could of been explained by college humor and drunken neighbors.
The team also goes to investigate an alleged haunting at a Pub, were witnesses and local owners have had close encounters with abnormal, spiritual events, from a ghostly figure of a little girl who trips constantly trips on steps, and who mischiefly moves glasses around tables; to strange noises or voices and odd smells, like sent of roses in the pub's cellar. Jason and grant deem this to be inconclusive do to lack of evidence, although they do show some interesting footage they found.

As the staff finalizes President Bartlet's visit to China, their plans are thrown a curve when Bartlet inadvertently accepts a a flag from the Taiwanese delegation representing the Taiwanese Independence Movement. The first ever challenge seems simple enough.. to design a glamorous outfit for a night out, made only from materials popular Manhattan store? a supermarket. With only a 50$ budget the designers only have an hour to figure out what they can possibly buy at the grocery store that can help them win on the runway. Not only is Mario the out of the market, he's also the first out of the workroom. After half an hour, he is satisfied with his simple shower curtain gown, though the competition is not terribly impressed.
Austin, busy shucking corn is also frantic trying to figure out what he is going to do with it when he is done. Mario meanwhile takes about half the time as the rest of the crew does to finish his outfit. While Kara's outfit seems to be going ok, her model hasn't showing up causing Kara to use up her valuable time trying to recruit someone walking by on the streets of New York. The investigation leads them to a local street vendor, but stalls when the D.A. asks Mac not to do anything to risk the horse until after the woman who donated it has a chance to say goodbye. Aiden investigates the body of a young man, Lenny Starks, who was found face-down, dead in the street. Aiden traces the young man to a local pizza parlor where she faces intimidation from the bookies who use it as a gambling front.

Meanwhile, Hurley is shocked and confused when he discovers that one of the plane crash survivors, does not appear on the flight manifest.
