The nine teams continue to Stockholm, Sweden, but not before one is assessed a penalty for events in the previous episode. The teams make their way to an ice bar, where they must face an additional task by sliding a shot glass made of ice across a bar and hit a target. The teams then continue to the world's largest Ikea, where they face a Detour. Both tasks seem rather difficult, one called Count It requires successfully counting 2,304 objects, while the other called Build It, requires successful, proper building of a desk. Some initially choose the counting and ditch it for the Desk option. Two teams fall far behind due to choosing the wrong task. Next, the teams must make their way into the country and tandem bike to a farm. Here, teams discovered the first Yield of the race. But no one chose to use it on this leg. The teams then face a Roadblock involving rolling rough bales of hay to find hidden clues. There are 270 bales of hay and only 20 clues. This proves very exhausting for many teams and the possible downfall of one. The teams then make their way back to Stockholm to find the Auf Chapman, this leg's Pit Stop.

In the end, one team is eliminated due to failing to find a hidden clue in the hay bales.

Rory is delighted when the headmaster of her old prep school asks her to play hostess to a young student, Anna, who is thinking of applying to Yale. However, Anna turns out to be more interested in boys than academics and runs off to party, leaving Rory to deal with Logan's elaborate practical jokes. Meanwhile, Lorelai and Luke have their first fight when she accidentally upsets him by buying an old boat that had belonged to his father.

A college student collapses after rowdy sex with his girlfriend. While House and his team attempt to determine the cause, the student's condition continues to deteriorate and his symptoms multiply complicating the diagnosis.

A Navy Commander dies after a successful surgery. While researching the commander's past, the team finds out that he earned a lot of enemies lately and tracks down a ensign, making him the prime suspect. Soon Abby realizes that they've got the wrong man.

Rumours and suspicions fly after a tense previous elimination, where the women in the house assumed that the men were trying to pick them off. Players are just starting to get on each other's nerves: Maurice's lack of work ethic angers his team - and his trainer, Kelly Mac's backhanded compliments annoy the Red Team, and Lisa's whining continues to get on everyone's nerves. At the challenge, an agility competition meant to mimic lifegaurding, the Red Team prospers, winning themselves a trip to the Umberto Salon, where they receive makeovers and new hairstyles. The Blue Team, forced to vote one of their own off of the ranch, cannot decide who to eliminate. With a deadlocked vote, the members of the Red Team must choose to eliminate one of the members of the Blue Team, finally deciding on Kelly Mac.

Cheryl's gynecologist (played by Mitch Rouse) forbids her from having sex with Jim until the time is right to get pregnant, and Jim eats crow in order to win a huge account from a blowhard potential client (Tom Arnold).

Nathan is concerned about Lucas' health, so he tells Karen that Lucas didn't take the heart test. Dan offers Keith the chance to continue working at the dealership - as vice president. Meanwhile, Peyton must confront the circulating rumors that she is a lesbian, and Nathan and Haley's relationship continues to deteriorate.

The wealthy parents of a Neptune High senior hire Keith and Veronica to investigate a cult-like group and its charismatic leader after their son Casey moves out to live on the collective farm.
Meanwhile, Veronica attempts to get to the bottom of Abel Koontz' claim that her real father is Jake Kane.
