We begin at the Bachelor's Pad, where Chris calls the men together and tells them there will be two group dates and one one-on-one date. Chris goes on to explain the White Rose, and that Rick has earned the first one-on-one date. The men watch their first video invitation, where they learn who is going on the first group date with Meredith.
First Group Date: ATV Riding With: Marcus, Brad, Matthew, Chad, Ryan M., Sean and Harold Meredith arrives and picks the men up, and takes them to a helicopter, where they ride out to the desert for a day of ATV riding. Everyone ends up covered in mud, and Matthew admits he's drawn to Meredith. The group freshens up in a luxury bus, and the men begin to spend private time with Meredith out at a "desert oasis" that has been set up for them. Ryan M. gets his private time first, and Meredith seems to have a good time with him. The men then take turns interrupting each other to get their time with Meredith, which pleasantly surprises her. When Hoshi identifies a signal that matches the kemocite Archer planted on a Xindi ship, the captain realizes that this could lead Enterprise closer to the Xindi weapon. He orders T'Pol to set a course. The course, however, requires Enterprise to navigate a dense field of spatial anomalies and the ship sustains heavy damage. Just as it looks like Enterprise may not emerge intact, the ship is hauled out by an Andorian vessel helmed by Commander Shran, who has had dealings with Archer in the past. Shran offers assistance to Enterprise, claiming that the Andorians wish to help the humans in their quest for the Xindi. Though T'Pol is suspicious of the Andorians' motives, Archer accepts. Shran sends his tactical officer, Lieutenant Talas, to assist Reed in repairing Enterprise's weapons. Like T'Pol, Reed is skeptical of the Andorians, but he soon finds himself bonding with Talas - the two have similar backgrounds.

Becker meets an older woman on the subway who's on her way to Ground Zero; Chris entertains the doctor's out-of-town friends with whom he is supposed to have dinner; Linda accidentally deletes some important insurance files.

Attempting to stop a robbery, Clark is temporarily blinded when he shoots off a burst of heat vision that is accidentally reflected back into his eyes by a piece of kryptonite and soon realizes his body has developed super-hearing to compensate for his lack of sight. However, as it was in the beginning with his other gifts, Clark doesn't quite have his new power under control.

The challenge this week is a lesson in negotiation. The task is a scavenger hunt of sorts - the teams are given a list of items to buy from vendors from all over New York City. The candidates must negotiate a price that is lower than the actual retail price. The women of Protege use their sexuality to win the task, with an overall negotiation savings of 22% (as opposed to the men's 9%), and as a reward, are treated to dinner at the 21 Club. The men, however, are sent to the boardroom. There, Trump questions Sam's leadership skills, and admits that he has been given one two many second chances, and Sam is fired.

When Spike is talked into taking up the good-deeds business, Eve lets loose a soul sucking parasite on Angel, who then suffers disturbing feverish hallucinations as he sleeps.

Sandy and Jimmy take the first step in going into business by buying the Lighthouse restaurant. Kirsten has a tough time at work when Julie is hired as a designer for the Newport Group. Despite being with Anna, Seth becomes jealous when he sees Summer and her boyfriend together. Meanwhile, Ryan risks his enrollment at Harbor to expose the truth about Oliver.
