It's our second Bachelorette, Meredith!
We begin our journey by getting to know Meredith much better than we ever did on The Bachelor. Meredith explains that being let go by Bob was the best thing that could have happened, because she now has the chance to let the real Meredith shine through. Meredith admits that she's very nervous and excited, and never thought she would be The Bachelorette.
It's then time for Meredith to meet the men vying for her heart. The men arrive, and Rick, the second Bachelor out, tells Meredith he has a present for her, which he'll give to her later. Not to be out-done, Harold arrives with a hockey jersey as a gift. Once all of the guys are in the house, it's clear to Meredith that she's in for a tough time.
Meredith enters the party and thanks all the men for coming out to meet her. After spending time with a lot of the guys, Rick finally gets a moment to take Meredith aside and give her his present â- a pair of slippers. The gift-giving continues, with Mered

After coming to the aid of a crippled alien vessel, Captain Archer brings the ship's crew onboard Enterprise for medical attention. The aliens are a deeply religious people known as the Triannons, and Archer invites their leader, D'Jamat, to dinner. D'Jamat explains that the Triannons regard the Delphic Expanse as the "Chosen Realm" and the mysterious spheres are sacred objects created by god-like beings known as the "Makers". The spatial anomalies, D'Jamat says, are merely "the Makers' breath".

There's a blizzard in New York, so Chris plans a trip to Bermuda with Becker; a psychic tells Linda she's going to meet the man of her dreams; Margaret looks forward to a weekend alone.

Three of Clark's former opponents approach Lex to enlist his help in luring Clark to the hospital after they hear that Lionel has requested Lex be given electroshock therapy to erase his memory. However, the plan goes awry when the villains double-cross Lex and use kryptonite to steal Clark's powers. Meanwhile, Lana meets a mysterious stranger in the hospital.

Summer does all she can to annoy and come between Seth and Anna, but refuses to admit her feelings for Seth. The weekend takes a turn for the worst when Oliver leaves and later calls Marissa to tell her he's taken a handful of pills. Back in Newport, Kirsten talks to her father about Hailey's problems and Sandy and Jimmy decide to go into business together.

With the State of the Union address nearing, Bartlet goes over a long list of prisoners that qualify for pardons while considering the potential political repercussions due to 'the benign prerogative'. Charlie meets an attractive woman and shares small, private White House facts, and is horrified to learn that she's a White House reporter. Meanwhile, Toby and Joey Lucas 'mall test' an upcoming presidential speech; Abbey vows to be more pro-active when it comes to influencing Jed; and Bartlet entertains a couple from Colorado.

Arthur wins $2,500 at a bingo game, and agrees to share some of his winnings with Doug and Carrie. Unfortunately, Arthur feels that he should decide how they will spend their portion.

The investigation into the murder of a former bookie turned mob informant reveals a disturbing new wrinkle in organized crime involving legitimate businessmen moonlighting as contract hitmen in a battle for mob leadership, and ends with a Federal ploy to nullify the plea bargain in the case, leaving McCoy seething and two more people dead.

In the finale, the girls are prodded to pack their pricey bags after Nicole's barroom hissy finally gets Janet's goat. Not that they've been model citizens anyway. Having insulted locals and avoided labor since day one, it's a safe bet that few folks will be missing Misses Richie and Hilton once they're gone.
