The next day Rory comes home with a bird, who turns out to be her mid term project. She is asked to babysit Babette's new kitten, leaving Lorelai with her bird. At Babette's, Rory thinks about her fight with Dean then decides to cook dinner and dress like Donna Reed to make up. Lorelai arrives back home, she finds that the bird has escaped, and calls Luke to find it. Meanwhile, an unexpected visitor reappears in Lorelai's and Rory's life.

Jerri wakes up to find smoke covering camp from the fire, but has other things on her mind - just recently she has realized that Colby has an alliance with Tina & Keith. Jerri talks with Amber and tells her the importance in getting Colby back on their side. At Kucha camp, Kimmi becomes more and more depressed because no one respects that she's a vegetarian. She and Alicia get into a fight over the chickens and begin shouting. Later, Kucha wins the reward challenge, getting soaps and shampoos, and the other tribe members bathe a reluctant Kimmi in the dirty river water. At the Immunity Challenge, Ogakor breaks their losing streak, sending Kucha to Tribal Council, where Kimmi receives six votes and is voted out of the game. The tribe has spoken.

Will's father George returns, harboring a spicy secret, in this intrigue-filled episode. As if sitting through 'Seussical' on a date with a Frankenstein lookalike weren't rough enough, Grace spies George at the theater--getting very cozy with a woman who isn't Will's mother. After she spills to Will, he goes into denial, refusing to deal with this revelation. But an explosion comes anyway when George's giggly mistress is indiscreet. Meanwhile, Karen and Jack plot to nail Stan, who's also suspected of adultery.

Grace is apoplectic when she catches Will's philandering father on the arm of a glamorous stranger, but she gets even more worked up when she tells Will - and he's happy living with denial. Speaking of cheaters, Karen misunderstands Grace and suddenly suspects that her husband Stan is having an affair, so she sets out to even the score.

Carter and Luka are called out to the scene of a major train wreck, where Carter is forced to perform a double leg amputation by himself when Corday begins to experience contractions. Weaver and Legaspi treat a young, suicidal girl who caused the accident. Benton lets prospective med student William White follow him around the ER. Luka wrestles with his faith, revealing that he could have saved his wife by sacrificing his daughter. Bishop Stewart grants him absolution before his death. Also, Carter meets a new pedes intern, Rena Trujillo.
