Following Joe's arrest in the previous episode, the employees were shaken up by the events. However, they expressed further displeasure when new security measures are implemented to make sure that no one steals anything. But when Seth announced that all employees' bags will be searched upon leaving the store, Les and Ashley thought that he went too far. But that wasn't far enough when Seth also wanted body searches, which he actually carried out despite Les and Ashley's warnings that it may lead to legal troubles for the store. Also: a man tries to sell a 19th-Century nautical compass for $150, but learns the hard way not to fool with Les when he discovered that that man was selling the same compass online for $33. A woman agreed with Les to sell her Blues Brothers statues for $300, but changed her mind after the deal was made, after her friends told her to hold out for more. A man wanted to buy an electric generator after losing power due to an unpaid bill, but refused to deal with Seth - or even leave the store - when he was unable to take it home to try it out first. And another man, unable to sell his ring because Ashley found it to be fake, found himself thrown onto the floor by Byron, the new head of security, when he tried touching Ashley.

Callen and the NCIS:LA team work with Paris and the NCIS: RED team to track down suspected terrorist Robert Spears. When intel suggests that he is headed to El Centro, Mexico, Hetty sends the RED team after him to track him down, while the LA team stays to interrogate captured terrorist Ari Yousef Sayed. This leads both teams to a smuggler and arms dealer named Jose Ramirez, who owns properties in El Centro. The RED team engages in a firefight with Ramirez and his crew, but he escapes. Eric and Nell locate him in Bombay Beach at the Salton Sea, but when the RED team arrives, they find Ramirez dead from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Hetty begins to suspect that they are dealing with a contract killer, so she has Kensi and Deeks look into all the unsolved murders that involved similar killing methods. Both the LA and RED teams follow the evidence to find the real shooter, a contract killer hired to eliminate Spears, Santoso, and Ramirez. Callen engages in a hand-to-hand battle with Spears and emerges victorious, while Roy saves Paris after the shooter gains the upper hand on her in a shootout. After wrapping up the case, the LA team returns home, while the RED team, Roy included, packs their bags for their next mission.

Max Steel Season 1, Episode 3

Miles Dredd continues to hold Max captive, and Molly, Uncle Ferrus, Steel and N-Tek must save him. Steel flies through an air vent in the enemy's headquarters to find Max. Meanwhile Uncle Ferrus tells Molly if Steel doesn't reconnect with Max in 8 hours, Max's powers will overload and Steel will shut down. Miles reveals to Max that he was behind the explosion that killed Max's father and created a device to absorb TURBO energy, but the explosion permanently connected the device to Miles and damaged the storing function of the device. Max gets angry at this revelation releasing more energy, but Miles again absorbs it. The TURBO energy Miles originally absorbed from the explosion kept him alive for the 16 years until now. Finally Steel saves Max and the two fuse to escape, but Miles captures Steel and Max survives his fall 100 stories. He shuts Steel down, and hooks him up to a machine meant to kill everyone in Copper Canyons so Miles can gain more TURBO power from their devices feeding off each civilian. Soon N-Tek and Max invade the headquarters, faced with robots and Elementors. Max goes looking for Steel, runs into Miles' assistant, who transforms into a cyborg, but Max easily gets rid of him off the elevator. Max then rescues Steel, deactivating the machine and trying to fight Miles, but he just absorbs their attacks. Finally Max has an idea: he and Steel release all the TURBO energy they can, and as they fly to space with Miles, a huge explosion occurs. Molly starts to cry, but then sees Max survived. Reporters arrive at the scene and ask who the hero is, with Max and Steel replying conjointly forming the name "Max Steel". Ferrus asks Molly if they knew their existence was meant to be secret, and has her continue working at THI to sort the mess. In the aftermath of the fight, Miles Dredd is seen floating in space, but his assistant appears in a ship rescuing him, and they return to Earth.
