Meanwhile, Chloe applies to become an intern at the Daily Planet and runs up against the editor-in-chief, Pauline Kahn.

The physical nature of the game takes its toll on Yaxh when they cope with bangs and bruises from the Reward challenge the week before. At this weeks challenge, the teams play for a sweet reward, chocolate and a zip line tour through the jungle. Nakm panics and falls behind while Yaxh springs ahead and takes the ride of their lives through the Guatemalan jungle. For Dannis birthday, Yaxh invites Nakm over to their camp for a pool part, but Jamie gets rather paranoid about his tribemates making friends with the others. For the Immunity Challenge, the tribes race to unearth pieces of a puzzle, and despite a close competition, Nakm assembles their puzzle first. Back at Yaxh, Amy feels that she is the next to go, but Brandon and Danni, still undecided, try to figure out whether they should off Bobby Jon because Amy is more deserving of the final prize. With Amy and Bobby Jon at risk, the tribe votes out the weaker of the two, Amy. After the reveal, Yaxh is thrown for a loop upon hearing that the two tribes, Yaxh and Nakm, will become one effective immediately.

Sydney and Tom discover that Rene has stolen the cryogenic-type container, and they find themselves under siege by mercenaries who want the container's contents. Meanwhile, Sloane is forced to take matters into his own possibly devious hands to get himself reinstated into APO and to continue his quest to find a cure for daughter Nadia.

With the Donald away on business in Los Angeles, Carolyn fills in for him while Bill takes the place of the also-gone George. Due to Capital Edge's ineffectiveness, Carolyn orders a corporate restructuring, telling the Project Manager on each team to pick three of their current teammates who have contributed the least to be moved over to the other team. Thus, the teams are shaken up, and Capital Edge Project Manager Alla is left with Felisha, Adam, Markus, Randal, and Clay, while Excel team leader Josh is forced to lead Jennifer M, Rebecca, Mark, James, Brian, and Marshawn. The teams are then given the responsibiity of designing a display and event for Dick's sporting goods to move merchandise in a specific product category. Capital Edge picks golf and Excel selects baseball, but when the events begin, Excel forgets that their primary focus is supposed to be on sales, not event planning. The result? The biggest loss in the history of The Apprentice. When it comes time for the boardroom, Trump is so dissapointed with Excel that he fires four team members who contributed next to nothing to selling items, Josh, Jennifer M., James, and Mark.

Bright tries to invite Ephram on a camping trip along with his dad Harold and Andy, but Ephram is reluctant even though he and Andy are doing a bit better. Ephram eventually does go though. Also, while Amy is working to get a play together she is mortified that her signals towards Reif were way off in her attempt to pursue a relationship with him. But they do eventually kiss.
Ephram meets Kyle's mother, Tracy and thanks Ephram for all he has done for him. She also sets insight on why Kyle is the way he is, which leaves Ephram more contented that Kyle is just like him. Jake treats a 40 year-old woman who has stress urinary incontinence - someone who keeps wetting themselves and having no control over it. Edna has been quite perplexed lately as Jake is opening up his private office more for surgical procedures and botox sessions.

Kolchak investigates when a troubled boy and his seemingly abusive dad leave a trail of mysterious deaths wherever they go.

Wendy Kim goes missing during her shift at the family deli, and the team gets involved to find out what happened to the young Korean woman. It isn't long before they learn that Wendy had recently broken off an engagement to a young Korean man her parents were very supportive of, and that she had recently been doing a lot of on-line dating and had gotten herself involved with the wrong kind of men, including one who wouldn't take no for an answer.
