In a two-hour episode, the teams travel from the Pit Stop at a polo club called The Martina to Johannesburg, South Africa. Once there, they take part in a Detour that involves either rappelling into and then searching an underground cavern or collecting five items and giving them to the appropriate tribes. Later, the teams do a Roadblock that requires them to search a market for five items and then deliver them to a local orphanage. As the teams race to complete these tasks, one pulls ahead with a Fast Forward, while one team-member suffers a nasty injury. It ends up being a tight finish, but all teams continue onwards for the next leg. This leg sees the teams traveling to a nature reserve, where they one of two scheduled shuttles and feed lions. Later, the Roadblock involves throwing spears. Afterwards, the teams ride Humvees and choose between a Detour task of grinding corn or filling ostrich eggs with water. One team crashes their vehicle and falls behind, but the race to the Pit St.

House is also faced with a woman who won't accept surgery for a 30 lb. tumor because she wants to remain overweight.

After the apparent kidnapping of Neptune High's beloved mascot, Polly the Parrot, Veronica is hired to track her down and get her back. Her detective work leads her to go undercover at a rival school on the eve of a big basketball game. Veronica has an emotional reunion with her mother who she has not seen sense her mother left the family the year before. When Veronica's suspicions about the Kane family are renewed Veronica attempts to get her hands on her father's original interrogation tapes of Lilly's murder. Veronica's love life also seems to be getting renewed as Veronica's relationship with Deputy Leo heats up.

When Denise Eldridge finds her fifteen-year-old daughter Carrie in bed with twenty-one-year-old Justin, she immediately calls police to have Justin charged with statutory rape. Benson intercedes on behalf of Carrie, calling a children's rights lawyer to assist her, but when Denise turns up dead, Carrie and Justin both end up on the suspect list. Benson tries to get some help from Simone Bryce, but Bryce is obligated to protect her client.

The One-Niners and Spookstreet Souljahs are on the brink of war after a drive-by shooting and retaliation leaves 5 gang members dead. Monica's first official day as Captain of the Barn begins with a speech that addresses the implementation of property seizures and a new gang task force headed by Vic. Monica must rely on Vic to find the catalyst of the gang war and figure out how to end the bloodshed. Meanwhile, Dutch and Claudette are assigned an elementary case which involves a convenience store robber using hot coffee to disarm clerks and steal their money.

Sir Alan had been involved in the refurbishment of the Hackney Empire and this week a group of celebrities and the remaining candidates helped raise some money in a celebrity auction.
Sir Alan separated Paul and Saira asking them both to select members for the new teams. First Forte were led by James and included Saira, Sebastian and Raj. Impact were led by Ben and included Miriam, Paul and Tim.
Each team visited five celebrities and tried to obtain something from each of them which would be auctioned.
Ben wisely gave Miriam the task of chatting up Michael Winner who contributed a table for four at The Ivy.
Impact were on fire and then managed to get Dermuid Gavin to part with his prized Suzuki bike.
First Forte were struggling. Eamonn Holmes charmed the group sitting them on the GMTV studio couch but the most he would offer was a tour of the TV studios and breakfast in the canteen.
Paul McKenna offered a valuable one-to-one hypnotism session but then Saira asked for a bundle of books
