The eight remaining teams continue racing in Portugal to Europe's most western point. There, teams open their next clue and discover a Detour which requires them to either rappel down to a shoreline or walk. Teams complete the task and learn that they must drive 250 miles to the port city Algeciras, Spain. Once there, teams must travel by ferry to Tangier, Morocco. While driving, some teams fall behind due to filling up their car with unleaded gasoline instead of diesel. When teams realize their mistake it puts them into shock and denial. Once teams reach Morocco, they must make their way to a travel agency and sign up for one of four charter buses departing one hour apart to the city of Fez. Each bus could only carry three teams. In Fez, teams encounter a Roadblock which involves searching through vats of smelling dye.

Once completed, teams must then drive themselves to the next Pit Stop at the Borj Nord, a 425-year-old fortress that was designed to protect the city of Fez. In the end, one team's mistake earlier on caused them to fall into last place. They do not manage to catch up with the other teams and check in to the Pit Stop last and are eliminated from the race.

With Enterprise's deuterium reserves running low, Archer and the crew visit a small mining colony in hopes of replenishing their supply. The alien colonists, however, claim that they can't spare any deuterium, and ask Archer to return at the end of the season. Archer manages to negotiate, and eventually reaches an agreement with the colony's leader, Tessic - the deuterium in exchange for medical supplies, power cells and assistance in repairing the colony's extraction pumps. In a puzzling move, Tessic also insists that the pump be repaired within two days.

When Dawson assists Todd in throwing a blow-out Halloween party, Todd and Natasha have Dawson believing he is seeing the ghost of a legendary film actress. Jen becomes suspicious about C.J., and Joey gets stuck taking Professor Heston's daughter to a haunted house with Eddie.

As the four ladies prepare to take Aaron home to meet their families, they must also say goodbye to each other and move out of the Ladies' Villa. Meanwhile, even as relationships are growing stonger, Aaron must present roses to only the three women he would like to continue dating.
The ladies are greeted by Chris, who gives them a chance to say goodbye to each other and the Ladie's Villa, as they are moving out. The individual dates will begin with Aaron flying to each ladies' hometown to meet their parents.
First Trip: Buffalo to meet Gwen
Aaron meets Gwen, and they drive through Buffalo on the way to meet her parents Marie and Phil, her sister Mary Beth, and her friend Louise. When they sit down, Marie takes out a list of twenty questions, all of which Aaron answers quite deftly. Phil says he can see walking down the aisle to give Gwen away to Aaron. After lunch, Aaron and Gwen head to Niagra Falls for a romantic interlude. Gwen confesses to the camera that she feels much more connec

After rehearsal, Toby meets up with his ex-wife, Congresswoman Andy Wyatt, then informs C.J. that Albie Duncan, an old, crazy Republican will help C.J. in 'spinning' the even for the White House. Meanwhile, Leo negotiates a settlement in the Qumar-Israel conflict; Sam attempts to get a deceased Democratic candidate removed from the Congressional ballot; and the staff watches as Bartlet easily defeats Richie in the debate.

A struggling actress is murdered in an apparent robbery-homicide where a video tape, made by a couple touring the city and sold to a local news station, shows three suspects loading the stolen property into an SUV. They are charged with felony murder, a capital crime, and this causes unrest with Southerlyn surrounding the death penalty.
