The arrival of Francis's new bride on Hal's birthday sparks a fray that drives the younger siblings out - and into a posh hotel.

Peggy takes an online I.Q. test sponsored by the "Intelligence Institute of Texas," and is declared a genius. When the head of the Institute, Dr. Vayzosa, offers her a chance to get a PhD for only $900, she uses the family savings to pay for it. When Luanne takes the online I.Q. test and also scores as a genius, Peggy realizes that she has been conned, and she comes up with an elaborate sting to get the money back. Hank learns of her plans, and tries to intervene, but is it too late?

Sydney has to use her friendship with Emily to gain access to a Rembaldi manuscript, under the request of Vaughn. Meanwhile, Will is kidnapped, and ordered to stop his investigation of SD-6 or his family and friends will pay the price.

Brenda and Nate seem to be in a bit of a slump, or rather Brenda is in the slump for both of them. David gets some good news, but then continues to get bad news of varying degrees. But if David's news is bad, Nate's could be considered slightly potentially devastating. And it doesn't help Nate that Brenda is being so detached and cold towards him. Ruth is trying to figure out ways she can be more accepting and open to David's homosexuality. In the process she questions Claire about her sexuality. Rico is trying to become more involved on the sales side of the business but strikes out.

At the end of the year a little girls night at Ashley's turns into the party of the year. Toby invites Sean and JT as his guests and JT has a little "party favor", he's brought extacy. When Sean tells them he's going to the kitchen to split the pill into 2 so Toby and JT can take it, he runs into Ashley. He switched the extacy with asprin and gives the extacy to Ashley telling her to throw it out. Meanwhile, Paige is pressuring Ashley to have more fun so Ashley takes the extacy. She then calls Jimmy and his friends and Jimmy quickly discovers Ashley is high. JT and Toby also invited Emma and her friends over so Emma and Sean fight. Sean is heartbroken. Ashley then cheats on Jimmy and makes out with Sean. Then Jimmy finds out and Ashley publically dumps him and then she even makes fun of Paige. Justin's Mother tries to talk to Justin into going to a party, with people his own age. He brushes her off at first, but decides to go to the party. He gets bored, and cruises people. But when a girl cruises him, he hides. He finds a guy who he know is gay and they later go upstairs, and start to have sex. The guy then starts to develop a crush on Justin (sound familiar?) and with his evil Brian Kinney ways, Justin gives the guy an intimate kiss.

When Amy brings her most recent boyfriend, Kif, home to meet the family, trouble ensues when Amy's parents fear that Kif cannot provide many grandchildren. Amy's parents, who own half of Mars and made a fortune off raising buggalo -- an alien version of cattle -- set out to break-up the relationship. When an entire herd of buggalo suddenly disappear, Kif offers to go after the rustlers and enlists the help of Professor, Zapp Brannigan, Fry, Leela, Hermes and Bender. Back at the homestead, Amy's parents make some interesting discoveries.
