Later, a group of hard-drinking homeless men cause havoc in ED when they start stealing bottles of alcohol-based hand sanitiser from the wards and take it back to an unsafe hospital annexe to enjoy in private. Tragedy strikes when young security guard Mick, desperate to win Ruth's approval, confronts the homeless men on his own, but Jonathan, who has seen the commotion, is quick to get help. Will his part in the events convince Ruth that he's changed and that she can help him make a fresh start? Meanwhile, Jessica and Adam's wedding arrangements continue apace but Adam struggles to maintain his composure when interference comes from an unwelcome source...
