January 19, 2155: The Enterprise crew is back on Earth for an historic conference - humans, Vulcans, Andorians, Tellarites and other species have gathered together to form a coalition of planets. The conference is interrupted, however, when a disheveled woman bursts in and collapses to the ground. Before she dies, she presses a vial containing human hair into T'Pol's hand. Upon analysing the hair, Phlox comes to a puzzling conclusion: it appears to belong to the offspring of Trip and T'Pol. T'Pol has never been pregnant, but she senses that what Phlox says is true: she and Trip have a daughter out there.

Dylan and his crew deal with the survivors on Seefra One promising them that it will soon become like Tarn-Vedra once was. Harper works on getting the "low-tech" mechanism inside the planet to work properly, while Trance explores her new powers resulting from the re-establishment of her sun. She introduces Dylan to the group that her impersonator worked for, "the Nebula", a group of stars controlling all the galaxies, also an enemy of the Abyss.

While traveling towards the North Pole, the group almost gets captured by the Fire Nation. However, when a charismatic young man and his band of rebels attack the Fire Nation's camp and rescue them, the gang learns that the rebels are trying to resist the Fire Nation's motives to expand their territory. Katara and Aang really enjoy their time with the band of rebels, but Sokka soon discovers that they aren't as noble as meets the eye.

Don and Agent Weston of the NTSB investigate eyewitness accounts of a mysterious unidentified object flying dangerously close to downtown Los Angeles that has raised concern of a terrorist attack. After Charlie is recruited to help with the investigation, it is discovered that the flying object is part of a new technology that could revolutionize air travel. But the investigation takes a turn when they learn that the lead engineer is found murdered.

The Doctor, Rose and Adam arrive in the year 200,000 on a broadcasting station that transmits programming to Earth. But soon, trouble is afoot, when they discover that any worker promoted to a position on level 500 never returns. The Doctor and Rose attempt to find out what is happening, whilst Adam investigates part of the station himself, and makes a decision that he's going to regret for the rest of his life.

Narrator Simon Pegg appears on-screen to discuss his appearance as the Doctor's latest enemy in the episode The Long Game.

It is Claire's turn in the witness box and she has to decide whether to lie for her brother or tell the truth as Tess has to tell the truth about Sam to Charlie when he can't find a few files.
