Grissom investigates when a worker at a poultry processing plant is found dead in a stun bath used to electrocute chickens before they are slaughtered. Nearby, a miniature replica of the crime scene is discovered. It's eerily similar to two other replicas left at scenes of homicides. Also, a man and a dead woman are found stuck in cement at a construction site; and an elderly Russian woman is discovered dead in her apartment with her head in a gas stove, but Warrick thinks she was murdered.

Seth travels to Providence to visit Summer, but when he gets to Brown all he finds is an empty dorm room. While Seth is away, Kirsten and Sandy are able to find an opportunity to bond with Ryan, who's in a haze after Taylor's doings. Meanwhile, Kaitlin takes the school mean girl down the best way she knows how -- a rager at the Roberts' house. Elsewhere, Julie finds that Newmatch is more than a dating service and the truth about Che is finally exposed.

Sebastian is surprised that the affluent and well-known Sara would cheat on her powerful husband with an unsavory character from the other side of the tracks, but he's even more shocked to discover that Jessica visited her friend and gave her legal advice. Sam has a vision of Dean killing a demon-possessed man. The brothers travel to River Grove, Oregon to find answers to Sam's premonition, and discover a virus-stricken town where the victims are driven to kill. Sam is infected by the virus and prepares for his deadly fate, but proves immune so Dean decides to tell Sam the truth about what John told him before he died.

Jack bumps Jenna's scheduled appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien by booking new star Tracy. Jenna, still irate over watching The Girlie Show change to TGS with Tracy Jordan, lashes out at Liz. To make matters worse, Tracy's gone off his medication, and he's about to go on national television.

It's Christmas in the ER again. Luka, dressed as Rudolph, and Abby, an elf, visit pediatrics, while Morris learns the meaning of Christmas when he plays Santa to a special girl. Ames takes action that creates tension between Luka and Abby, leading Luka to make a heartfelt confession. Teller returns, sending Gates and Ray on a mission, while Neela oversees an unusual kidney transplant case. Sam and Ben take a stand when a patient from Mercy Hospital is dumped in an alley and then brought to County. Morris, after getting a visit from one of his children, gets an offer he can't refuse, but somehow, does.

While Jack is waiting for Marin to return from New York, he receives an unexpected visitor who has arrived in Elmo with a secret. In the meantime, the relationship between Annie and Patrick hasn't gotten better after he neglected her at Thanksgiving dinner. Theresa and Ben ponder their future, Jane and Sam spend a romantic time together in New York. While everyone is busy with their own lives, Buzz faces a medical crisis.
