Willow and Tara are well on the road to recovery but love lives are not as good for Xander and Anya or Buffy and Spike. The Troika move full swing into their biggest plan ever: stealing a pair of mystical orbs which imbue the bearer with super strength and invulnerability. They attempt to rob an armoured van but Buffy crashes the party resulting in a battle between her and SuperWarren. Buffy is all but finished until Jonathan reveals the secret to Warren's power. Buffy manages to defeat him but he escapes by use of a rocket pack and Jonathan and Andrew are arrested.

Max's quest to find his son ends with the return of Tess and the baby, and the gang find themselves in danger again while trying to protect the child. Meanwhile, Jesse encourages Isabel to reveal her true origins to her parents, and the elder Evanses provide a way to ensure their grandchild's safety.

After the accident Rory is mad to find that everyone blames Jess for the accident. Luke closes the diner to go fishing. Meanwhile, Richard opens a new office and Lorelai helps him after his old secretary declines transferring to Richard's office and Lane finds that her dream in life is to be a drummer in a band.

After being injured in a hit and run accident, a student loses the use of his hands but gains the ability of telekinesis.

Eric finds out that Casey is taking Donna to a hotel and he freaks out about it.

Jordan's brother Ben is admitted at Sacred Heart for having an accident with a nail gun.

J.D. learns that Ben has leukemia, but won't believe it, since there have been many mixups in the hospital lately, so he goes on a search for the real test results.

The Drazens contact Mason and offer to trade Jack for Alexis. Mason is reluctant, but Palmer pressures him to go ahead with the deal.

It's the day before Aneesa's birthday, late at night and she's hoping to get some phone time to talk to friends and family so that she can celebrate her birthday a bit before going to bed. Tonya, as usual, is dominating the phone with phone calls from Justin who is calling her from a tanning salon.
