In a twist on the traditional format, Aaron and Adam competed against each other to win immunity. They had 1hr 45min to complete three dishes with three core ingredients for three Celebrity Chefs, Matt Moran, Kylie Kwong and Ian Curley. The Chefs would then pick their favourite of the two dishes, and the contestant with the most votes would win immunity.

Captain Hitsugaya and Harribel use an array of water and ice-type attacks. Since Captain Hitsugaya can turn any water into ice, and Harribel can turn any ice into water, both of their attacks neutralize each other out. But, both of them has a plan to turn the battleground into water, and finish off the opponent in a single blow. As Hitsugaya tries to keep up with Harribel and protect the injured lieutenants (Matsumoto, Hinamori, Hisagi, Iba), he is injured severely from Harribel's Cascada and a Cero. But, when Harribel comments on Hitsugaya not being able to fight at full strength, Hitsugaya stands up and extols at Hyorinmaru being the strongest of all snow and ice zanpakuto, which gives the wielder the control of the heavens. He is then about to unleash his strongest attack Hyoten Hyakkaso.

Greg and Joseph have to retrieve a heart for a transplant but when they arrive at the hospital it quickly becomes apparent that everything is not well. After Elaine dies, Connie attempts to make peace with Kevin but she believes he is out for revenge. After Kevin ends up rescuing her from an attack by an ex-patient's relative Connie's hopes of them sorting out their problems are dashed by Kevin's subsequent character assassination of her. Connie ends up turning to Greg for some support.

After being framed for murder, the only person who can help Luther is Alice. As Luther teams up with Alice, DCI Reed stacks up up the evidence against Luther from within. Luther must steal the evidence and discredit Reed if he is prove his innocence and also hope that Alice doesn't betray him.
